Rate Cuteness Every day Slide how adorable they are being, say why, send it. Costs one of your six.
What it looks like in practice
The whole app is one gesture: you decide how cute they are being, in a number, and you tell them why. The XP lands on them, never on you.
Why it exists
Distance kills the small compliments first. This makes one of them cost something and land somewhere.
Full page →Talking Hearts Every day One question a day. Your answer seals until they answer too.
What it looks like in practice
A question arrives every morning. You both answer blind, and neither answer unlocks until both are in - so nobody is grading the other person first.
Why it exists
Blind answers stop the second person grading the first. That is the only reason it seals.
Full page →Memory Map Keeps a record A world map under fog. It only clears where one of you deliberately pinned something.
What it looks like in practice
No location tracking, no check-ins. The fog lifts only where somebody stopped and said this happened here.
Why it exists
A shared history you can see is worth more than a location dot neither of you asked for.
Full page →Bond Streak Every day Only ticks when you both show up. Freezes cover the days life got in the way.
What it looks like in practice
The streak is the one number you own together. It moves when both of you did something, and it forgives you twice a month.
Why it exists
One number you own together, and it forgives you - a streak that punishes is measuring your free time, not your relationship.
Full page →Daily Chest Every day XP, gems, a love note they wrote, or a secret task only you see.
What it looks like in practice
One chest a day, opened by hand. Most are XP. Some are a note your partner wrote weeks ago and forgot about.
Why it exists
A reason to open the app on a day when nothing happened, without inventing a fake notification.
Full page →Rex’s Black Market Keeps a record A dealer dinosaur sells favours: phones-away hour, you pick the film, a care package.
What it looks like in practice
Gems are spendable XP. Rex trades them for things the other person has to actually do - not badges, not skins.
Why it exists
Points you cannot spend are just a score. Gems buy things the other person actually has to do.
Full page →Adventures Every week Swipe date ideas apart; a match becomes a co-op quest worth 400 XP each.
What it looks like in practice
You both swipe date ideas separately. When you both say yes to the same one it becomes a three-step co-op quest worth 400 XP each - indoor camping night, cook the same pasta on video, arcade night.
EITHER OF YOU CAN TICK A STEP · BOTH GET THE XP
Why it exists
Deciding what to do together is the tax on being apart. Swiping pays it in ten seconds.
Daily Quest & Reading Every day One prompt a day, plus a transit reading if you set up birth charts.
What it looks like in practice
"Send a voice note describing their laugh. No text allowed." One prompt a day, +75 XP, re-roll for 💎5. If you both set up birth charts you also get a transit reading, which is for fun and says so.
RESETS AT MIDNIGHT, YOUR TIME
Why it exists
A prompt narrow enough to answer at a bus stop, which is where most of these get answered.
Trophy Room Keeps a record Forty-one trophies, five of them secret. No leaderboards, ever.
What it looks like in practice
41 trophies: Spawn, Smitten, First Pin, Passport, Centurion, 1 Year. Five are secret and stay that way. There is no leaderboard and never will be - the only other player is the person you are dating.
19 OF 41 EARNED IN A TYPICAL FIRST YEAR
Why it exists
Proof the two of you did the thing, with nobody else on the board to compare against.
What we deliberately did not build
- Read receipts - they turn a silence into an accusation.
- Last seen - nobody needs to know you were awake and did not message.
- Location sharing - the map clears where you pin, not where you walk.
- A public feed - the only audience for this is one person.
- A third person in a world - a world holds exactly two, permanently.
- Buying more energy - the cap is the mechanic. Selling it would sell you a worse app.
The rule underneath all of it
Boosts only ever flow away from you. There is no way to send one to yourself, so the best move in the game is to be generous to the other person.
