Is it really free?

Yes, and the free version is the entire game. Nothing is behind a wall, including energy - paying supporters get exactly the same six boosts a day you do. Money keeps the servers on and the app ad-free.

Can a third person join our world?

No. A world holds exactly two, permanently. Once your partner uses the invite code it stops working and there is no mechanism, paid or otherwise, to add anyone else.

What happens if we break the streak?

Accepted Answer

You earn a freeze for every seven days you keep the streak alive and can bank up to three, and they spend themselves automatically. If you are out of freezes the streak resets and the app says so plainly - no guilt notifications, no countdown timers, no offer to buy it back.

Does it track my location?

Never. The Memory Map only clears where one of you deliberately dropped a pin, and a pin is something you type, not something your phone reports.

Why only six boosts a day?

Accepted Answer

Because scarcity is what makes you choose. If you could send fifty, none of them would mean anything, and the app would become a notification firehose. The cap is the product. It also settles something couples argue about endlessly: six is what enough looks like. Send them and you are done for the day, with nothing left to wonder about.

Is there an app store version?

Is there an age requirement?

Yes - you both need to be 16 or older. We ask for your date of birth when you set up your world and check it before the world is created, not after.

What if we break up?

Accepted Answer

Settings has Export my data, which downloads everything KTL holds about your relationship as a file, and Delete your world, which is deleted rather than archived. Export first if you want to keep any of it. One thing worth knowing before you press it: deleting is not one-sided. The world goes for both of you, immediately, and it cannot be undone. There is no way to step out and leave it standing for them.
