Features
Talking Hearts: one question a day, answered blind
One shared question, once a day. You each answer without seeing the other's reply first, and then they reveal side by side. That is the whole feature, and it is the one neither of you can half-do.
How it works
Four steps, once a day.
01
One question lands
The same question shows up for both of you, once a day.
02
You each answer privately
Write your answer and send it. It locks the moment it sends, so nothing gets edited after seeing theirs.
03
It stays sealed
Neither of you can see the other side until you have both answered. There is no peeking.
04
Both reveal at once
Answers appear side by side, and you each take +40 XP for showing up honestly.
Why it works
Why blind answers beat a text thread.
Ask a question over text and the second person to answer is steering, whether they mean to or not. Sealing both answers until they are both in removes that entirely. What you get back is closer to what your partner actually thinks, not what they think you want to hear.
It also means the question is never wasted on a distracted one-line reply. You cannot half-answer something you know is about to be read side by side.
The payoff
What happens the moment you both reply.
Both answers unlock at once and sit next to each other. You each take +40 XP, and the archive keeps every past question and every past answer, so it becomes a small, honest record of a year rather than a single day's novelty.
No catch
Free and private.
Talking Hearts is included free, with everything else in KTL. Your answers are visible only to the two of you: nothing is shared outside your world, and there is no leaderboard comparing your answers to anyone else's.
