1 · Data we handle

• Account: your name and email address, via our sign-in provider (Clerk).
• Relationship content: the memories, photos, love notes, chest and reward history, and answers you create.
• Optional birth details: date, time and place of birth, only if you set up the astrology feature.
• Locations: the places you pin on your shared map.
• Notifications: a device push token, only if you turn alerts on.

2 · How we use it

To run the app features, sync between you and your partner, and send the notifications you enable. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

3 · Who processes it

• Clerk — sign-in and account management.
• Railway — application hosting and the database.
• Tigris (S3-compatible storage) — your photos.
• OpenStreetMap Nominatim — turning place searches and pins into coordinates.
• A web-push service — delivering notifications you enable.

4 · Sharing with your partner

KTL is a shared space. Content you add is visible to your linked partner by design.

5 · Keeping and deleting data

We keep your data until you delete it. Deleting your account removes the whole couple for both partners. You can export or delete your data at any time from Settings.

6 · Your rights

You can access, export, correct and delete your data from Settings. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

7 · Cookies and children

We use essential cookies for sign-in and sessions only. KTL is not intended for people under [your minimum age].

8 · Changes

We may update this policy and will note the date it changes.
