A shared map that only fills in where you have actually been

A world map under a haze, and the only way to clear it is to have actually been somewhere together. No GPS, no tracking, just the places you chose to remember.

How it works

Pin, note, photo, done.

  1. 01

    You pin a place

Somewhere that meant something: an airport, their kitchen, a city you only visited once.

  2. 02

    Add the details

A title, a note, the date, and up to three photos if you have them.

  3. 03

    The fog clears

Your pin lifts the fog on their map too, within seconds, no refreshing needed.

  4. 04

    The map fills in

One pin at a time, a blank map slowly turns into a record of everywhere you have actually been together.

On purpose

Why there is no GPS, and why that is the point.

The map never reads your device location. Fog only lifts where one of you deliberately taps to pin a memory, and the town or country attached to that pin comes from where you tapped, not from where your phone actually is.

That is not just a privacy choice. It means the map is made of things you chose to keep, not a background log of everywhere you happened to carry your phone. A map made on purpose means more than one made automatically.

A year in

What a filled-in map looks like.

Long distance makes your shared places rare and scattered: an airport, one weekend in a city neither of you lives in, their kitchen on a visit home. Pin them as they happen and a year that felt thin from the inside turns out to have a map full of pins on it.

No catch

Free, private to your world of two.

The map is included free, with everything else in KTL. Pins, notes and photos are visible only to the two of you, and nothing about the map is shared outside your world.
