Features
A streak that survives a bad week
The Bond Streak only ticks up on a day you have both shown up. Miss one and a freeze covers it. It is built to survive real life, not punish it.
How it works
It needs both of you, every day.
The streak only advances on a day you both do something, whether that is sending a boost, answering Talking Hearts, or opening your daily chest. One-sided effort does not count. It is a record of two people showing up, not one person carrying it.
The safety net
Streak freezes: what they cover and how you earn them.
You earn a freeze every 7 days and can bank up to three at once. Miss a day and, if you have one banked, it gets spent automatically to cover the gap. No flame lost, no XP lost, no trophies affected. You only reset once you run out of freezes.
The payoff
Milestone rewards, all the way to a year.
Hit a milestone and you both take home XP for it. The milestones sit at:
- 3 days
- 7 days
- 14 days
- 30 days
- 60 days
- 100 days
- 365 days
Design choice
Why most streak features punish real life, and this one does not.
Streaks that punish one bad week do not survive their first bad week. A work trip, a flat battery, a time zone that stopped cooperating: none of that should be able to wipe out two months of showing up. Freezes exist so a missed day costs almost nothing, which is the whole reason this streak is worth keeping in the first place.
